Last century, (okay 19 years ago) there were hardly any bras available up to a G cup, let alone anything larger. Of course there were brands like Freya and Panache that were making great bras up to a G cup but it was slim pickings for GG cup and H cup bras and beyond. It was also hard to find back sizes in 6 and 8 (28 and 30 in UK/USA sizing) so can you imagine if you were a size 6H or 8H? There would nothing but granny bras in a big back size that you had to have taken in at the back for you. If you were a band size 18 (40 in UK/USA sizing) you were lucky if got a well fitting bra in black, white and nude. And 18H or 20H? Forget it.
